Blended classes combine online learning and traditional face-to-face instruction.  Students complete online modules and attend classroom sessions to complete course requirements and gain the knowledge to be applied to his or her work setting.  

The CA Test Prep course will teach the basic & advanced fundamentals in electrocardiography, phlebotomy, and assessment & management skills of the patient. Knowledge in these fundamentals will provide students with required information to complete national certifications in phlebotomy, electrocardiography, or clinical medical assisting. Upon completion of this prep course, students will have confidence to successfully complete the CCMA certification exam offered by NHA (National Healthcareer Association). 


This comprehensive 30-hour course is a blended program that includes online lessons and classroom hands on training. This course prepares participants to effectively deliver nursing care to patients on infusion therapies and gain confidence in their abilities, through instructor assisted online self study and practice with vascular access device (VAD) training. Participants learn to initiate, monitor, and manage patients receiving patient infusions. Students have up to 12 weeks to complete the online lessons and then one 6.0 hour hands on classroom session. Your 30.0 hour CE course completion certificate will be provided once you have completed the online lessons and the one 6 hour hands on lab session.

The CNA Basics is a prep course that combines ONLINE  learning with 2 days of clinical skills to prepare for the state exam in Florida. Skill days are scheduled at Southeastern in Tallahassee every other month; each student has up to 12 weeks to complete the online course work and up to 12 weeks to attend the skill days.  


THE CNA PREP COURSE  is designed to prepare students for success on the certified nursing assistant exam in Florida. It is a fast paced interactive CLASSROOM based course that provides students an opportunity to review essential materials and practice patient care clinical testing skills with other students.  To be successful, students should be willing to participate in class with other students (hands-on) to learn and practice these new skills.  In addition, students should understand that home study and post course skill practice is required.
